Job Description

1 Job Purpose:Write the purpose for which the job exists (in 23 lines)Max 1325 Characters)

To support formulation and lead of the sales and marketing strategy for Japan & Korea markets across product application segments (Flame ants Refractories Water Treatment Chemicals Ceramics etc. towards increasing the market share while maximizing volumes realization & margin. This role will be responsible for establishing and developing new business for export which will establish and create sustainable growth in Far East Asia including Japan and support RoW and South East for new product/ application development for Hindalco Alumina Chemicals. To support and carry out Product Development activities with customers targeting increase in sales volume and better realizations and revenue for the business.

Sales Target : To achieve the sales targets in terms of volumes and product mix

  • Annual contract with customers wherever possible.
  • Explore new markets for long term growth objective
  • Analyzing competitor activity and pricing to ensure competitive pricing strategy to retain/ increase market share.

Sales Realisation: To achieve the targeted sales realisation

  • Benchmark pricing with competition for maximum realization
  • Target volumes for higher valueadded products for better overall realization
  • Target growing end use segments

Market Development

  • To promote products in the market to increase our customer base
  • Develop a promotional plan
  • Establish a channel partner network and work closely with them to initiate and execute development activities.

Cost Control

  • Pursing customers for increasing payloads and optimizing packing
  • Controlling DSO as per business guidelines

Receivable Management

  • Credit insurance in place for all customers on open credit terms.
  • Timely realization through timely documentation.
  • Conversion to secured terms in select cases.

Customer Delight

  • Meeting customer expectations with respect to deliveries response and complaint settlements.
  • Demand forecasting to ensure smooth supplies and maintaining OTIF
  • Visiting to customers/channel partners as per our Annual Plans

Sustainability (Long term Strategic Projects)

  • Collecting market information on long term projects
  • Identification of customer/partners for scaling up trials
  • Launching of products once commercially available in respective markets

Safety

  • Ensure following safety protocols defined by business and organization from time to time.

Development of application for new age ceramics

  • Developing new application for electrical and electronic ceramics
