About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detailoriented Bookkeeper to work across two key functions: providing backup support for the firms payroll and bookkeeping while also assisting our Business Services team. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records managing accounts payable and receivable reconciling bank statements and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment. Were open to Parttime employment for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable including processing invoices and payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
  • Prepare financial reports including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Communicate with clients and vendors regarding financial matters
  • Assist with payroll processing and tax filings

About you:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Competent and confident using software such as Xero Dext Employment Hero and Excel
  • Highly organised processdriven with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and tax filings
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work autonomously and solve problems promptly
  • Positive and professional attitude
