Job Description
Join the team at Hershey Country Club a private premier golf and recreation club. The clubs rich history of accolades success and chocolate combine to form a oneofakind experience for individuals and families of all ages and features 45 holes of golf on the championship East & West courses.
This seasonal parttime position assists directly with the operations of the Hershey Country Club pool area including pool staff and the overall quality and consistency of these areas.

Job Functions (Items marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this position):
Oversee and enforce swimming pool and safety regulations.*
Anticipate recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies.*
Monitor equipment and supplies*
Maintain the work area and surrounding environment.*
Maintain lifeguard and first aid skills at test ready level at all times*
Portray a high level of maturity responsibility and professionalism which can be respected and followed.*
Adhere to all standard policies and procedures.*
Maintain a cooperative teamlike attitude when working with management and fellow associates.*
Oversee that all work areas are organized neat and clean.*
Supervise and oversee pool operations.*
Conduct and participate in inservice lifeguard training on a regular basis.*
Maintain pool facilitys cleanliness (indoor and outdoor).*
Complete routine inspections of all pool safety equipment.*
Monitor the proper chemical balance of all aquatic facilities.*
Conduct monthly meetings with the pool staff.*
Conduct daily inspections of all pool areas.*
Monitor daily and weekly checklists.*
Monitor employee duties to ensure consistency.*
Perform any reasonable tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
Basic Qualifications:
18 years of age or older.
Must have a valid Drivers License
PostEmployment Lifeguard Instructor Certification
Minimum of 1 year of related experience
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Ability to handle stressful working conditions and emergencies and to accept a high degree of accountability.
Ability to multitask.
Good communication and leadership skills
Must display a positive attitude eagerness to learn and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts.
Must be knowledgeable of all aspects of the aquatic facilities.

The position is subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
Weekend work schedules are a requirement of this position. Based on business needs weekly work schedules may change. Must be able to work a minimum of four 4 days per week throughout our peak summer season
