Blue Bell Country Club is seeking a qualified individual who is interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. An exemplary work ethic meticulous attention to detail and a passion for providing superior customer service are necessary for all applicants.


This is a parttime PM shift working approximately 2025 hours per week to include weekends.


This position will require you to complete a Responsible Alcohol Management Program to obtain RAMP certification


Job Function:

Restaurant Supervisors are responsible for the overall satisfaction of members and guests as well assuring a high standard of appearance hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of dining room and safe work environment. They supervise the dining room staff and work closely with the Restaurant Operations Manager and the Restaurant Managers to achieve the Companys stated goals. The Restaurant Supervisor shall lead by example and always conduct themselves in a manner that is fitting for a first class private country club and a fine dining establishment.

  • Must be proactive and communicate effectively with Restaurant Managers Chefs and all other coworkers
  • Greets members & guests and sees to it that their dining experience is enjoyable
  • Ensures that the dining room is attended at all times during operating hours
  • Has a full knowledge of all a la carte menus
  • Able to coordinate food service for dining rooms during even the busiest of times and ensures quality cleanliness and timeliness throughout the meal period
  • Assures that all safety regulations company policies and liquor policies are followed and is fluent in any accident or emergency procedures
  • Inspects the dining room before during and after each meal period to ensure cleanliness.
  • Identifies staffing needs and maintains appropriate staffing levels. Understands when to eliminate staff to meet budget concerns without sacrificing service standards
  • Has full knowledge the MICROS POS System
  • Able to run reports on the clubs operating systems and close out the days business in a timely and accurate manner including postings to the daily flash reports
  • Works to ensure that all record keeping procedures are consistently followed
  • Attends all food and beverage staff meetings
  • Is able to open and close the restaurants and clubhouse within the guidelines set forth by the Company
  • Carefully coaches trains and develops all staff to help assure proper service according to standards.
  • Inspects and supervises all employees to ensure that they are in proper and clean uniforms at all times
  • Receives and resolves complaints concerning food beverages and service
  • Serves as liaison between the staff and kitchen staff
  • Assures that all side work is accomplished and that all cleaning of equipment and storage areas is completed according to schedule
  • Directs premeal meetings with all staff in each location. Relays information and policy changes and briefs personnel
  • Assures the correct appearance cleanliness and safety of restaurant equipment and fixtures. Checks the maintenance of all equipment in the restaurant and reports deficiencies and maintenance concerns. Fills out proper repair work orders and institutes a preventative maintenance schedule of repair and replacement.
  • Produces daily/meal period revenue analyses and other reports from the PointofSale system(s) used in the dining room
  • Assures that the restaurant and other areas are secure at the end of the business day
  • Assists in service as needed
  • Attends and participates in all training sessions and team meetings
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner
  • Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conduct
  • Notifies and reports any problems or concerns to management


Requirements
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of A la Carte Serving experience
  • Must have previous experience working in a Restaurant Supervisory role.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must speak English
  • Must be RAMP certified or willing to obtain RAMP certification for employment
  • Possess a basic knowledge of excellent service standards as well as etiquette.
  • Available to work weekends evening shifts and major holidays (Easter Mothers Day Thanksgiving along with other special events from time to time)
  • Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations procedures policies and rules
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance at all times
  • Requires standing for extended periods walking pushing carrying bending reaching stooping kneeling or crouching.
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance and in excess of 50 pounds with assistance
  • Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
