Salary Package: $140 $145K Super
Role highlights: Financial Reporting role for Australian entity of a Global US listed organisation.
Role Overview
This newly created Financial Reporting Accountant role is part of a cross functional team and has been brought into the Head Office function from an alternate site. Through recent changes within the business they are entering a period of positive change whereby this rolewill be key in driving and improving the quality of information around their project portfolio and the business partnering support that sits alongside it. This is a great opportunity for first time mover from the Big 4 most likely operating at Manager level to broaden their skills in a large organisation. Alternatively this is also suitable for someone who is currently in a Financial Reporting role with a couple of years experience and wants to increase their visibility within Head Office and develop their Business Partnering skills.
Responsibilities
- Monthly Financial Reporting for Project Portfolio (circa $200 million value)
- Ensuring compliance with internal control framework
- Managing cost control for Capital Expenditure projects
- Management of cost against Budgets and Forecasts
- Business Partnering with Internal stakeholders including Project Managers and Central Finance Team
- Process improvement for reporting
- Group Finance adhoc internal projects
Candidate Profile
This role is a brilliant opportunity for a CA/CPA qualified Accountant to develop their Business Partnering skills alongside the traditional Accounting and reporting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will likely be currently in a Manager level role within Big 4 or have experience of working within a complex / multinational organisation and possess a natural ability to partner with Senior Management and nonfinance Stakeholders. If you have previous exposure of any process or reporting improvement projects this will be viewed positively.
