Job Description
Located on our historic campus in Towson Maryland Sheppard Pratt School and Residential Treatment Center (RTC) is a Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) approved level V nonpublic school. We offer a yearround therapeutic educational and residential program catering to youths ages 1218 with severe emotional and behavioral challenges. Our comprehensive program offers structured community and recreational activities alongside fullday special and general education schooling.
What to expect.
Under general direction you will oversee the daytoday operations of the residential setting by supervising daily activities and participating as a member of the treatment team.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Providing structure and supervision in support of students Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP).
- Supervising Residential Counselor on assigned shift ensuring that Sheppard Pratt policies and standards are followed.
- Participating in meetings that address the students ITPs and effectiveness of the behavioral treatment system.
- Serving as a role model for students by encouraging and reinforcing appropriate behavior.

Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education and years and level of related experience.
What we need from you.
One of the following combinations of educations
- Bachelors degree and 1 year of related experience.
- Associate degree and 2 years of related experience.
- High school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must meet Sheppard Pratts requirements to operate a company vehicle:
- Be 18 years old with at least 2 years of driving experience.
- Have a valid drivers license.
- Driving record with 2 points or less for the 3 most recent years of driving history.
