Job Summary
Financial Planning Academy Student Assistant is expected to assist the faculty and staff with the Financial Planning Academy. Student Assistants role is to ensure active participation and an overall entertaining experience for high school campers.
Student Assistants are with the campers at all times during the camp. Student Assistants help with camp logistics serve as mentors for their student team and assist the Financial Planning Academy staff in making sure every component of the camp is seamless and every camper is safe.
Before the camp starts there will be training for Student Assistants.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty staff and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.
1 Declared Personal Financial Planning as a certificate or
2 Have taken at least one class from Personal Financial Planning Certificate Required Courses: FIN328 ACCT308 FIN340 FIN360 FIN408 FIN409 FIN410 or
3 Have strong interest in financial literacy
Required Qualifications
Background Check
A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for this position. CSU will make a conditional offer of employment which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information.
