Job Description

PRODUCTION SPECIALIST

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY:

Pay: $19 $22/hr


The Production Specialist role is a shop specific position responsible for specific administrative and nonadministrative tasks assigned by the production specialist lead. These tasks will include one or more of the following tasks:Administrative TasksA/C ProtectionBurn Coupon FabricationPlacard FabricationShop/Hangar AuditsWire Printing andProcessing and tracking of plated parts.

EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsibleforprotectingtheinterioroftheaircraftand/or its componentsandensuringthatthe aircraft or shop isclean andfreeof FOD(ForeignObject Debris) duringall stagesof thebuilding of theaircraft.

1.Interpret material specs and engineering drawings to ensure installed interiors meet thedesignspec qualitystandards and customer expectations.

2.Requestmaterialneeds timelyto ensurea continuous workflow.

3.Adheres to all regulatory documentation regarding proper sign off componentinstallationetc.Ensure paperworkiscompliedwithandcompletedtimelyinaccordancewiththeComluxRSM and otherqualitystandards.

4.Followalldepartmentsafetyguidelinesandensureproperusageof toolsandequipment.

5.Abilitytoreceiveverbalinstructionandfollowdirectionsasreceived

6.Preplan develop and maintain schedule through aircraft delivery and followup. Assisting the team as required achieving milestone dates and meeting goals through proficient handson work guidance ensuring equipment and material is available.

7.Manage workflow to ensure that customer outdates are met. Facilitate status meetings with all departments and shops; update daily (weekly) reports on status of aircraft and report to Director of Interiors.

8.Other duties as assigned but not covered herein.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION EXPERIENCE LICENSES ETC:

1.Regular attendance and punctuality required.

2.Speak read and write English fluently.

3.Have a positive attitude.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


1.Proficient with interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.

2.Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel Word PowerPoint and Project.

3.Ability to communicate technical issues in an assertive and tactful manner.

4.Ability to document design and installation issues clearly and concisely.

5.Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers production work crews engineers and quality assurance organizations to resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions.

6.Ability to effectively prioritize workload tasks in a highpressure environment.

7.Ability to conform to shifting priorities demands and timelines through analytical techniques.

8.Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

9.Ability to work with minimal supervision.

10.Willingto travel domestically and internationally when required.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Theworkenvironment describedhereis representativeofthoserequiredbyanemployeetoperformtheessentialfunctions of thisjob withor without reasonable accommodations.

The location where this position works is in the back shop of an aircraft hangar environmentwhich could be subject to weather changes and is subject to constant exposure to loud noisepotentialcontact with hazardous waste material heavymachineryand other safetyhazards suchascabinets etc.
