Whats the Role As our Corporate Sales Manager youll be the face of our hotel to corporate clients helping to maximize revenue and grow our corporate business. Youll be responsible for securing guest rooms meeting rooms banquets and audio/visual sales all while ensuring our clients feel valued and excited to work with us. This role is all about making connections delivering topnotch service and strategically marketing our hotel to businesses that need a place to stay meet and celebrate.
What Youll Be Doing: - Drive revenue in corporate market segments by securing LNRs group business and meeting room sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients to ensure repeat business.
- Initiate strategic sales outreach and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts rates and space commitments while handling tough conversations with confidence.
- Follow up on events and meetings to guarantee client satisfaction and foster repeat bookings.
- Monitor market trends travel industry updates and economic factors to refine our sales approach.
- Represent Embassy Suites Rockford at industry events networking functions and community gatherings to expand our reach.
- Work closely with internal teams to execute flawless events and stays for corporate clients.
- Keep detailed records of sales activities lead pipelines and business trends.
What Were Looking For:
- Personable outgoing and a natural relationship builder you know how to make a lasting impression!
- A strong sales background hotel corporate or businesstobusiness sales experience preferred.
- Negotiation skills that close the deal youre confident handling pricing discussions and contract negotiations.
- Excellent verbal & written communication whether its a sales pitch a client email or a team meeting you deliver with clarity and professionalism.
- A selfstarter who thrives in a fastpaced environment you see opportunities and go after them!
- Ability to market the hotel through strategic outreach networking and creative sales tactics.
- Experience in corporate sales meetings and events you understand what businesses need and how to sell it to them.
