The Automotive Sales Consultant is responsible for selling vehicles and meeting dealership gross profit volume and customer satisfaction standards.

Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain professional relationships with potential customers via phone email social media and inperson.
  • Guide customers through the entire sales process from initial contact to vehicle delivery.
  • Demonstrate indepth knowledge of all company products services and accessories.
  • Perform highquality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
  • Create effective strategies to overcome sales objections.
  • Report to the Sales Manager with goals & objectives planned activities performance reviews and feedback.
  • Understand basic financing and optional financial products.
  • Routinely followup with customers to ensure continued satisfaction
  • Consistently monitor industry trends and techniques in the automotive industry.
  • Work with other departments and dealership staff to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Consistently deliver exceptional customer service and provide a positive attitude.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in general automotive sales
  • GM sales experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends
  • Must have the ability to learn new products and services
  • Must be well organized personable and professional
  • Must have a valid Drivers License and clean driving record
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be willing to participate in a preemploymentbackground check anddrug screening.
