Job Title: Financial Accounting and Auditing (FAA) Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accounting and Auditing (FAA) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal auditing financial analysis and compliance. This role requires a detailoriented professional who can ensure the integrity of financial operations and adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive internal audits to assess the effectiveness of financial controls risk management and governance processes.
- Develop and implement audit plans including risk assessments and audit programs.
- Evaluate financial statements and records for accuracy completeness and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Identify and report on areas of improvement and provide recommendations for enhancing internal controls.
- Collaborate with management to develop action plans for addressing audit findings and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management and the audit committee.
- Stay updated on industry trends regulatory changes and best practices in financial auditing.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of internal audit policies and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to junior audit staff as needed.
- Should be conversant in Stores Operations and Industrial Relation (IR) functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field and ICWAI/CMA. A professional certification such as CPA CA or CIA is preferred.
- 56 years of experience in financial accounting and auditing with a focus on internal audit functions.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Proficiency in using audit software and financial analysis tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity professionalism and attention to detail.
