We are looking for a Supplier Quality a skilled individual responsible to help ensure that the quality of materials and services from external suppliers meet company standards by implementing quality assurance processes conducting audits and collaborating with suppliers to address quality issues. This role will also participate in the preparation and hosting of both regulatory and customer audits.
What You Will Do
Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure suppliers meet requirements.
Aid in the classification and approval process for new and existing suppliers as be the QMS
Evaluate potential and existing suppliers to assess their quality capabilities and performance.
Conduct supplier audits to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Identify analyze and resolve supplier quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and improve quality.
Maintaining accurate records of supplier quality performance audits and corrective actions.
Identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives to enhance supplier quality and performance.
Analyzing supplier quality data to identify trends root causes and areas for improvement.
What We Need
Typically a bachelors degree in engineering quality management or a related field and experience in a supplier quality role with minimum 5 years experience
Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 13485 / 9001 MDSAP MDR) statistical process control and manufacturing processes.
Excellent communication negotiation and collaboration skills to effectively work with suppliers and crossfunctional teams.
Ability to identify analyze and resolve quality issues.
Ability to interpret data identify trends and make datadriven decisions.
Industry certifications (e.g. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer)
