About the Role
Exciting opportunities currently exist for dedicated and experienced mental health nurses to work as Associate Nurse Unit Managers on the Acute Inpatient Service (AIS) of St Vincents Hospital Melbourne as a part of our Mental Health Service.
As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager you will act as a role model to lead and direct nursing staff ensuring a high standard of patient care and excellent patient family and carer experience is delivered in accordance with the Values and Health Care Philosophy of the SVHM.
The Associate Nurse Unit Manager role provides the opportunity to further develop your leadership skills and contribute to the ongoing development of our progressive Recovery Model of Care.
Classifications for this position will range from RPN Grade 3 NP83 NP74 $108435 $112091 per annum pro rata).
Your Contribution
Certificate Diploma or Degree in General Nursing which meets the registration requirements of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) in Division 1 or 3
Current practicing certificate (AHPRA registration)
Post registration qualification in Mental Health (or relevant overseas qualifications)
Current National criminal history check or willing to obtain
Minimum 3 years experience in a Mental Health space
