We are looking for a driven and experienced Class and Comp and Organizational Effectiveness Manager to join our team and contribute to the organizations success.

Wevalue our employees and are committed to providing flexibility in work schedules.This position qualifies for teleworking on a parttime basis as part of the State Telework Program.

The primary purpose of the Class and Comp and Organizational Effectiveness Manager position is to oversee and lead the agencys classification and compensation functions as well as manage strategic HR projects and process improvements.

This positions primary job duties are:
  • Leading HR projects and initiatives related to classification and compensation workforce planning and business process improvement including facilitating crossfunctional teams managing deadlines and delivering critical initiative results
  • Advising agency leadership on classification and compensation decisions and workforce planning including classification review making recommendations to pay structures and workforce realignment
  • Collaborating with executive HR leadership on strategic plans and implementation including advising on the HR organizations structure and implementing operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Developing and implementing HR operational policies including ensuring HR policies programs and business processes are in compliance with state regulations and agency objectives
  • Assessing and improving the organizations HR business processes including facilitating process redesign activities and partnering with HR leadership on developing and implementing best practices
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders including providing excellent HR service to customers and stakeholders
This position requires the ability to:
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of people including agency directors managers and State Human Resources officials
  • Integrate and merge a diverse and complicated range of capabilities and experience to focus on identified goals / objectives
  • Plan and direct business services for assigned initiatives and projects
  • Select train and supervise employees
  • Manage shifting priorities and demands
  • Work under stressful situations in a highvolume environment
  • Lead and influence both within and outside of direct lines of supervision
  • Utilize expert communication skills in written and oral form to address a variety of audiences and a broad range of topics
This positions typical work schedule is Monday Friday 8am 5pm.
