About HashiCorp Frontend Experiences
The Frontend Experiences organization at HashiCorp exists to enable and support the engineering and design delivery of accessible highquality UIs through a focus on tooling infrastructure design systems education and culture. The organization is responsible for Helios HashiCorps design system our accessibility program the longterm reliability and stability of our UIs and more. The organization acts as a center of excellence to support the frontend engineers and designers across all of HashiCorp R&D.
About the role
As a member of Frontend Experiences Enablement team you will provide support and enablement for delivering complex crossproduct UI features across HashiCorps portfolio of products. Youll work closely with engineers and designers across the company to leverage your experience and expertise in building accessible delightful and maintainable UIs. We are hiring for multiple roles at multiple levels for this team; from Sr. Engineer to Sr. Engineer II.
What youll do (responsibilities):
- Collaborate with product designers and engineers to support the delivery of new features or major refactors in our UIs
- Serve as a trusted specialist in your field whether its UI engineering accessibility data visualization or another specialty for our partner teams
- Identify and act on opportunities to leave our product UIs better than you found them
- Regularly adapt to new products and areas of focus as priorities shift and new initiatives emerge
- Support effective project handoff through written communication and documentation
What youll need (basic qualifications):
- Have production experience working on an application using a JavaScript framework (e.g. Ember.js) building responsive layouts with CSS and HTML
- Strong collaboration and communication skills and an ability to build productive relationships with a diverse range of partners
- Strive for quality through maintainable code and comprehensive testing from development to deployment
- Be familiar with web accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
- Communicate clearly while remaining empathetic and kind
- Have an eagerness to learn through humility and reflection

- First interview with the Hiring Manager
- Interview Loop with additional team members that touch on the following:
- Code Review Exercise
- Design and Collaboration
- Pair Programming Exercise
- Communication & Collaboration
Although we use Ember.js at HashiCorp our interviews are available in Ember or React. The use of AI during interviews is prohibited.
Individual pay within the range will be determined based on job relatedfactors such as skills experience and education or training.
