Position Overview:
The Material Coordinator 2 is responsible for picking packing and transacting inventory to support San Diegos shipments. Order Fulfillment is responsible for various types of requests. This role will also be working with other departments within Distribution.
Responsibilities:
Support picking packing and shipping of material for order fulfillment by using scanners or by manual methods.
Perform shipping functions under general supervision.
Responsible for picking and packing all shipments from Illumina.
Process orders using various ERPs: UPS WorldShip SAP JIRA and FedEx Ship Manager software.
Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships within their team and any other departments contacted during work.
Acquire and maintain a clear understanding of the technologies utilized in Illuminas products parts and services.
Provide other support as requested and/or needed.

Requirements:
Minimum of 1 2 years of Warehouse experience (preferably in a life sciences manufacturing environment) with temperature sensitive products.
Familiar with GMPs and ISO regulated environments.
Working computer literacy using an ERP system spreadsheet and word processing software inventory control and work order procedures are required (SAP preferred).
Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook Access).
Ability to prepare and deliver presentations.
Ability to execute basic analysis and resolve minor problems independently.
Excellent math skills strong organizational skills and very detail oriented.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Work overtime as needed.
Must be able to lift (upwards) to 50 lbs. to a 36inch height.

The estimated base hourly range for the Material Coordinator 2 role based in the United States of America is: $17.21 $25.86. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including but not limited to an individuals qualifications location where the role is to be performed internal equity and alignment with market data.
