Job Description
VPAC Construction is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter you will be responsible for various carpentry tasks involved in construction projects undertaken by VPAC Construction.
Your primary duties will include:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints drawings and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Measuring cutting and shaping wood plastic fiberglass or drywall using hand and power tools.
- Installing structures and fixtures such as windows doors cabinets stairs and molding.
- Performing repairs renovations and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Collaborating with other team members including contractors and subcontractors to ensure project completion within deadlines.
- Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in carpentry work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and installations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines related to carpentry work.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring lifting bending and standing for extended periods.
