Are you a passionate educator looking to take on a leadership role in a thriving secondary school
We are seeking a Head of Year to join a highperforming secondary school in Staines from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to support student progress wellbeing and achievement while working within a dedicated pastoral team.
Head of Year Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead the pastoral care behaviour and academic progress of a year group.
- Develop and implement strategies to support student wellbeing and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with teachers support staff and senior leaders.
- Engage with parents carers and external agencies to ensure student success.
Head of Year Requirements:
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
- Strong leadership communication and pastoral skills.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and aspirational school culture.
