Are you looking for a rewarding career with an organization that values their staff The Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) is seeking to hire qualified candidates with the opportunity to work in a dynamic creative thinking problem solving environment. This position serves as the Information Systems AuditorinCharge conducting Information Technology audits. In this role you will be responsible for conducting tests of major new systems and modifications to systems maintained by DoIT. In addition you will review internal controls within the IS applications to ensure compliance with various requirements. Additionally you will provide input to the Chief Internal Auditor in the preparation of audit procedures development of the annual audit plan.

Under general direction serves as the Information Systems AuditorinCharge for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) conducting complex Information Technology audits through conducting tests of major systems and modifications to systems.
Performs and reviews audit segments and risk assessments to determine whether projects reported by agencies meet the statutory definition of major projects that have significant impact on DoITs performance.
Provides input to the Chief Internal Auditor in the preparation of audit procedures development of the annual audit plan and audit manuals and policies used by division staff.
Continues education through formal and inhouse training and confers with audit professionals to increase knowledge in audit practice and technique and in programmatic activities of assigned agencies.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Requires knowledge skill and mental development equivalent to the completion of four 4 years of college with coursework in auditing business management public administration economics accounting management information systems or related fields.
Requires three 3 years of professional Information Technology (IT) auditing experience.
Requires certification as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
