About the opportunity
Its an exciting time to join Sydecar! Were seeking full stack Senior Software Engineers who are passionate about creating impactful solutions and excited to explore the fintech landscape. In this role you will contribute to the design development and maintenance of our software applications while mentoring junior engineers. Our Tech Stack
Frontend: TypeScript and React in a MonoRepo structure
Backend: TypeScript using NestJS and Prisma
Database: PostgreSQL
What youll be doing
Design and build multipart solutions to story tasks taking into account risk mitigation and advanced testing processes including building tests using React Testing Library and Playwright
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including product management quality assurance and technical support to deliver highquality software products
Lead and mentor junior engineers in the design development and testing of software applications
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
What were looking for
At least 5 years of software engineering experience ideally working on a similar tech stack to Sydecar
Solid experience with TypeScript and React required
A strong interest in building both frontend and backend systems as a full stack engineer
Experience writing unit and E2E tests
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to foster collaboration across teams and support the growth of junior engineers
Great analytical and problem solving skills with a knack for debugging tricky issues and coming up with creative solutions
Its just a bonus if you have
A Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
Knowledge of cloudbased technologies such as GCP
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins or Docker
Prior experience working in Fintech

This is a hybrid role based in our San Francisco office with inoffice attendance required two days per week.
Sydecars compensation package includes equity for all full time roles and exceptional benefits. Our Total Cash Compensation range for this role is: $160000 $209000.
