Osborn is a multidiscipline team of engineers and designers in mechanical electrical plumbing fire protection/life safety technology structural civil transportation and commissioning. Osborn Engineering is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer focused in Water Resources with 10 Years experiencewho will report to the Manager of Electrical Engineering. The ideal candidate would have strong working knowledge of Revit and Electrical design in the Consulting Engineering environment.

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • 10 15 years of electrical design and project management in consulting engineering.
  • Working knowledge of design and analysis software such as Revit AutoCAD SKM ETAP Easypower.
  • Good knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) State Energy Code NFPA guidelines and FGI guidelines.
  • Experience with electrical system studies such as short circuit overcurrent device coordination and Arc Flash Hazard analysis per NPFA 70E.
  • Ability to instruct staff in project communications and clientmanagement.
  • Proficient knowledge of standard construction practices and the ability to work with contractors to address construction issuesincluding specification editing.
  • Ability to work and manage several project teams concurrently.
  • At least five years experience designing electrical distribution systems for Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP) projects from 120volt to 35kV (P&IC design experience helpful but not required) including serving as project discipline lead for at least three projects.
  • Experience in designing Healthcare Sports Commercial Public Sector Industrial Education and/or Institutional projectsis preferred but not required.
  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineeringPreferred.
  • PE License preferred.
