Job Description

Description

The purpose of this role is to collect and propose credit applications for hire purchases of agricultural equipment to expand the debtors book.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • BCom or other financial training.
  • 10 years of experience in agricultural equipment financing.
  • Proven experience in handling hire purchase agreements and credit applications.
  • SAP experience will be advantageous.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

New Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and engage with potential clients.
  • Present AFGRIs financing options and crosssell additional services.

Preparation of Credit Applications

  • Capture and evaluate credit applications in compliance with credit policies.
  • Arrange security where required and submit proposals to the credit department.
  • Ensure thorough documentation and timely application processing.

Administration

  • Address client queries regarding HP accounts and liaise with relevant departments.
  • Monitor arrears accounts and compile reports.
  • Maintain compliance with legislative and policy requirements.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Attend and present at farmers days and study groups.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive crossselling opportunities

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to analyse financial statements and assess creditworthiness.
  • Advanced computer literacy (MS Office SAP).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
  • Analytical ability with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and within a problemsolving skills.
