Job Description
Role: Travel RN ICU
Location: Aurora IL
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights
Schedule: 36 hours per week/3 days
Pay breakdown:
- Hourly rate - $49.00 $15.67 taxable $33.33 non-taxable
- OT rate - $59.00
- Weekly Gross - $1764.00 $564.00 taxable $1200.00 stipend
Job Summary:
- Registered Nurse (RN) ICU
The ICU Registered Nurse provides critical care to patients with life-threatening medical conditions in the Intensive Care Unit. Responsibilities include closely monitoring vital signs administering medications managing ventilators responding to emergencies and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. The RN ensures high-quality compassionate care while adhering to safety and infection control protocols. Strong clinical judgment communication skills and the ability to work in high-stress environments are essential.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of RN ICU experience required
- BLS ACLS certification required
- Acute Care/Hospital experience required
- IL state license required
