We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Site Engineering team. You will play a crucial role in building our nextgeneration messaging platform and work with critical pieces of infrastructure driving data platform insights for the care platform.

What youll get to do...
- Design develop and maintain secure highly available faulttolerant and globally performant microservicesbased platforms deployed on AWS cloud.
- Collaborate with multifunctional teams to build shared experiences and flows.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle from planning and architecting to implementing testing and maintaining client and serverside platforms.
- Write efficient and maintainable code using standard methodologies and ensure code quality through extensive unit and integration testing.
- Investigate and resolve production issues ensuring your teams DevOps oncall responsibilities.
- Contribute to user documentation code reviews and mentoring fellow engineers.
- Stay uptodate with the latest frontend technologies browser nuances and provide mentorship to other developers.
Your experiences should include...
- 5 years in software engineering developing largescale distributed applications.
- 3 years with JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like Node.js React Redux Next.js Webpack.
- Strong experience in Java and a web framework like Spring/Spring Boot with a solid foundation in data structures software design microservices and containers.
- Handson experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience with NoSQL databases and/or data pipelines.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g. Jest Mocha).
- Experience with CI/CD workflows DevOps tools (Docker Jenkins) and Gitbased version control.
- Knowledge of application performance monitoring tools (ElasticAPM Datadog).
You might also have...
- Experience developing and crafting RESTful APIs and web services.
- Understanding of infrastructure as code and handson with usage with AWS CDK.
- Understanding of gitbased action workflows.
- Experience with Go and SQL.
- ES6/ES2015 features.
