Job Description
RPOs client is seeking a detailoriented and experienced Accountant to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have completed their articles and possess strong analytical and financial skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Conduct monthly quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning
- Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights
- Prepare tax returns and ensure timely filing
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- Completed articles with a recognized accounting firm
- Proven experience as an accountant or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
