Family owned and operated for over 40years Bob Ruth Ford Inc. is South Central Pennsylvanias fastest growing dealership. We are looking for the right person in a fun and exciting role as a Sales Consultant.
The right person is open to learning works well with a team punctual can multitask has good basic computer skills and a positive outgoing personality.

- Develops a rapport and determining needs and preferences in order to present options which includes providing test drives qualifying buyers and developing quotes suggesting tradeins explaining warranties features and services and addressing concerns or questions as necessary.
- Overcomes objections and uses negotiation skills to close sales and satisfy customers.
- Attends sales training (including Fordspecific training) reads professional publications reports monthly activities as required and makes recommendations to the Sales Manager relative to sales opportunities.
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid Pennsylvania Drivers License
- State Board of Vehicle Manufacturers Dealers and Salespersons Licensure to sell automobiles (or qualifications necessary to secure licensure upon hire)
- One or more years of prior sales experience
- Completion of Ford Sales Training (within 90 days of hire) and continuing education as required to maintain certification
- A basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office products computer software and internetbased automotive classifieds and consumer marketing websites (Auto Trader Cars CARFAX Craigslist etc.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communications ability including demonstrated negotiation and presentation skills and a professional demeanor
- Ability to work irregular hours which may include evenings belltobell hours and/or Saturdays
- Prior automotive warranty feature tradein and related sales experience (preferred)
- Experience selling Ford automotive products (preferred)
