We are looking for a special kind of person a St Vincents kind of person. Someone who puts compassion connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do.
As a Cook youll be part of an experienced engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincents Care Services Bronte.
St Vincents Care Services Bronteis a boutique facility located in one of Sydneys beautiful beachside neighbourhoods. Our 107bed facility offers a high standard of holistic care as well as specialist dementia accommodation.
At St Vincents Care our Heartprint model ensures compassionate holistic personcentred care that empowers residents and fosters a sense of belonging independence and cultural respect creating a life filled with purpose and wellbeing.
This is a Permanent Part Time opportunity with shifts available from Wednesday to Sunday 9.30am to 5.30pm.

Things that work for us:
- Qualification in Commercial Cooking.
- Previous experience in a similar role assisting in the preparation and serving of meals. Aged care &/or hospital experience desirable.
- Flexibility to produce special dietary requirements knowledge of aged care related nutrition and special diets for health advantageous.
- Assisting with food service duties including setting tables cleaning dishes and cleaning
- Genuine and professional customer service skills team player and well presented
- Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene standards
- Maintaining a safe environment for residents and staff
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
- Our kitchen operates seven 7 days a week and as such the successful applicant will need to be flexible in their availability across the week for both AM and PM shifts.
