Overview

Do you want to volunteer as a Peer Mentor for a caring organisation that believes in people

Do you want to make a difference

As a Peer Mentor with Change Grow Live you will support staff working with people who use our services; helping the service users get to where they want to be.

With this role you will be working as part of the Havering Aspire service based in Romford Essex.

Responsibilities

The service supports people with their or their loved ones drug and alcohol issues. We treat every person as an individual so flexibility and a non judgemental attitude are essential.

We are looking for people who have experienced drug and alcohol issues and have been through treatment services themselves.

You will support staff to provide a variety of different activities and interventions for our service users.

Full training and supervision will be provided. This is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people who are affected by substance use.
