EXP is currently searching for aCAD Technicianto work in their Environmental team in the Markham office.The environment is fastpaced and growth oriented ideally suited for individuals who like to take charge and are driven to build on current successes.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist Project Team using CAD skills to efficiently develop/revise plan view drawings cross sections & details for various environmental projects with guidance from the Project Manager or Engineer
- Tasks will include georeferencing existing drawings or aerial photographs existing plans or figures
- Development of plan view drawings based on GPS coordinates collected in the field
- Completion of tasks received from Project Managers. These tasks may include a variety of nontechnical field activities in support of our environmental field techs as well as office related duties such as filing copying etc.
- Ability to resolve and/or communicate any technical issues that may arise
The Skills Knowledge and Ability we Seek
- Educational background in a relevant discipline
- Previous experience with AutoCAD software
- Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform individually or as a Project Team Member
- Technical knowledge in an engineering or environmental discipline would be an asset
- Having a vehicle would be an asset
- Knowledge and experience in ArcGIS
