Job Description
Pictona Education Director
Pictona is a worldclass pickleball facility located in Holly Hill Florida (part of the greater Daytona Beach area). Pictona includes 49 pickleball courts 13 of which are covered including a championship court that seats 1200. It also includes an activity center locker rooms player shop and a restaurant called the Kitchen.
The Education Directors duties include the development and delivery of courses for players and instructors and coordinating our certified instructors. The position also includes the administration of our junior and adult player camps.
This is a fulltime position working onsite at Pictona. The essential skills are 1 the ability to conceptualize courses help develop the resources for those courses and guide others in teaching those courses 2 to develop a training program for pickleball instructors and 3 to provide the organizational skills to administer our junior and adult player camps.
The educator selected for this position will have demonstrated pickleball teaching experience. An indepth knowledge of pickleball is essential but being a professional player is not but may be helpful if the person has the other qualifications.
Compensation for the position is $60000 to $70000. The starting date is immediate.
