Position Summary
We are seeking a Practice Director to lead and grow our San Jose office. This leadership role is responsible for driving business development managing client relationships and overseeing the fullcycle recruitment process. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong track record in executive search staffing or professional services and a deep understanding of the accounting and finance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Growth
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand GHJ Search & Staffings presence in the NorCal Market Hub.
- Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers CFOs and executives in accounting and finance.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive Search and Staffing growth.
- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor a team of recruiters and business development professionals.
- Foster a highperformance culture focused on client service collaboration and results.
- Provide strategic direction and support to ensure team success.
- Client & Candidate Engagement
- Manage the full recruitment life cycle from sourcing and screening to placement and followup.
- Ensure exceptional client service by understanding hiring needs and delivering highquality candidates.
- Stay updated on industry trends and provide market insights to clients and candidates.
- Operational Excellence
- Oversee financial performance KPIs and operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with GHJ leadership to align recruitment strategies with overall business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and company policies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 7 years of experience in executive search staffing or professional services.
- Strong background in accounting finance or recruiting for financial roles.
- Proven ability to develop new business and manage client relationships at the executive level.
- Leadership experience with a track record of building and managing highperforming teams.
- Deep knowledge of the NorCal market and hiring trends.
- Excellent communication negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills.
