About the Role
An Independent school in Barnet requires an enthusiastic PE Teacher starting ASAP for a temporary fulltime position. You will deliver engaging PE lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for a dedicated PE Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging PE Teacher lessons covering a range of sports and activities.
- Prepare students for practical assessments.
- Develop students physical fitness skills and understanding of sports and health.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the organisation and delivery of extracurricular sports activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physical Education.
- Proven experience in teaching PE at secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of sports and physical activities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
