About the Role
An Independent school in Islington requires a skilled Science Teacher with a Physics specialism starting ASAP for a temporary parttime position. The right Science Teacher will deliver engaging physics lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons tailored to the curriculum focusing on Physics.
- Prepare students for assessments and examinations.
- Develop students scientific understanding and practical skills in Physics.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of science resources.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Science with a focus on Physics.
- Proven experience teaching science at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physics.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
