We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Service Manager to join our team and help lead our service department to success.

Position Overview: We are looking for a Service Manager to oversee the daytoday operations of our service department. This individual will be responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction managing service staff and optimizing the departments performance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities a deep understanding of automotive service operations and a passion for delivering topnotch service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead supervise and motivate the service team to achieve performance and quality goals.
  • Manage daily service department operations including workflow scheduling and job assignments.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by overseeing service quality and resolving customer concerns.
  • Maintain a productive and efficient service department meeting all set goals and KPIs.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers ensuring repeat business and customer retention.
  • Oversee the service advisor team ensuring they accurately estimate and advise customers on services.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper ordering of parts and supplies.
  • Prepare reports on department performance including financial performance and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Hire train and develop service staff to ensure a high level of expertise and professionalism.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends new technologies and best practices in the automotive service field.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a service management or leadership role in an automotive dealership or repair shop.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team to meet service goals and deliver exceptional results.
  • Strong customer service focus and problemsolving abilities.
  • Proficient in service management software and basic office tools (e.g. Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to multitask prioritize and work in a fastpaced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Florida Driverslicense and clean driving record.
