Job Summary:
The Department of Pathology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a Pathologist/Clinical Assistant Professor (GFT) Hematopathology/Molecular Genetic Pathology. The successful candidate will:
- Lead educational activities in genetic testing and molecular pathology for pathology residents and medical students.
- Participate in research with presentation of work at national meetings and publish in peerreviewed journals.
Required Qualifications:
- PhD MD or DO Degree.
- Experience in molecular techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Eligibility in New York State Certificate of Qualification in Genetic Testing and Oncology Molecular and Cellular Tumor Markers.
- Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology.
- Eligibility for New York State Medical Licensure.
