Position Overview:
Jump is offering a part time (nonexempt) position for a teammember eager to gain handson experience in ticketing and live event operations. This unique opportunity allows you to work behind the scenes to support the North Carolina Courage (NWSL) and North Carolina FC (USL) in their deployment of the Jump ticketing and fan experience platform. This is a seasonal position where youll support our mission to provide a firstclass experience to both the NC soccer teams and their fans.
Position Details:
As a Game Day Operations Specialist you will join Jump for a dynamic 2025 season gaining behindthescenes experience in professional ticketing operations. This role involves handson responsibilities on game days and participation in select nongame day events. Ideal candidates are strong communicators who are committed to delivering exceptional customer service. You should be collaborative eager to learn capable of working unsupervised and adaptable to the fastpaced environment of a professional sports season. This is a parttime paid position beginning April 25th and running through the end of the NC Courage and NCFC seasons (October/November). This role will report to the Sr. Manager Event Operations at Jump.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in ticketing system preparation and setup prior to games.
Organize ticket scanning equipment and materials for each event.
Support various roles on the NC Courage and NCFC teams throughout game days including:
Ticket scanners
Box office users
Concession stands
Parking
Serve as the onsite point of contact for game day operations coordinating with remotely located Jump team members as needed to quickly identify and resolve ticketing issues access problems and customer inquiries in real time.
Assist with ticket scanner organization postgame.
Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
Ticket operations and/or event operations experience preferred but not required.
Enthusiastic and positive attitude with a strong desire to succeed.
Selfmotivated detailoriented and highly organized.
Desire and ability to work and communicate effectively with different audiences (Jump team NCC/NCFC staff stadium staff fans).
Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing responsibilities.
Strong problemsolving skills and the capacity to multitask effectively.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to stay calm under pressure.
Availability for all Courage and NCFC home games specifically hours on weeknights and weekends. NC Courage schedule here and NCFC game schedule here.
Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 lbs safely.
Compensation:
Compensation is something we dont want our candidates or employees to worry about. The core tenants of our compensation philosophy are fairness and transparency. The compensation for this role is $20 per hour. This is a part time nonexempt role that is not eligible for benefits.
