BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who knows American Sign Language to join the team in Malvern PA. BAYADAs special needs caregivers Direct Support Professionals DSPs work oneonone in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. Qualifications for this position as a DSP:
- HS diploma GED or equivalent
- Available on Sundays in Malvern PA
- Able to use American Sign Language (ASL) to communicate
- 1 year of professional or personal experience with those with intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD)
How Youll Make an Impact:
- Provide personal care assistance (dressing grooming)
- Accompany clients on errands and appointments
- Spend time on the clients favorite hobbies and activities
- Assist with everyday tasks such as meal preparation
- Participate in community integration activities
