A bit about the job:
You will be a member of the friendly and highlyengaged Aviva Health UK (AHUK) Clinical Risk & Governance Team. You will provide clinical governance support across the full product lifecycle of Aviva Protection.
This will include producing and embedding Protections clinical risk management framework across Individual and Group Protection and oversighting clinical suppliers.
You will support Aviva Health in the harmonisation of its digital health propositions ensuring consideration of applicable healthcare legislation and regulatory frameworks.
Successful of this role will help support optimal clinical outcomes for Aviva Health and Aviva Protection customers and protect Aviva from litigation and reputational risks.
Skills and experience were looking for:
Comprehensive knowledge of UK healthcare and its regulation. Knowledge of and exposure to digital/international healthcare and/or insurance regulation is desirable.
Experience of working in either a senior clinical/clinical governance role in the NHS or nationally or internationally the private healthcare sector. Alternatively experience of working in health or protection insurance or in a healthcare regulatory role.
Demonstrable experience in clinical risk identification management clinical audit activities and a customerfocused approach.
Previous experience with the oversight of healthcare pathways including digital healthcare is desirable.
Evidence of the ability to draft clear and succinct reports on clinical governance matters and present findings to senior leadership and business committees.
