Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Research funds that are received from client without any patient account information.
- Post payments from bank credit card and client documents to patient accounts receivable balances.
- Determine the cause of credit balances and make appropriate adjustments to resolve any discrepancies.
- Work directly with production management to identify areas for additional training of the wider posting team.
- Participate in and often lead various projects associated with Quadaxs receipt posting team. Project work will be both clientspecific and related to internal processes.
- Create detailed spreadsheets as requested by management.
- Contact insurance payers to obtain details for posting and receipt projects.
- Act as a backup on additional receipts production work lists as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- 4 years of experience working with health care billing bookkeeping banking or payroll
- Detail oriented and efficient with strong analytical skills
- Possess excellent math skills
- Ability to establish priorities work independently and proceed with objective without supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong 10key skills
- Other duties as assigned
