Job Description

Job Title: Deputy Homes Manager
Location: Northamptonshire
Salary:base
Working Hours: Fulltime including weekends (according to shift and rota system)
Number of Sleeps Required: Regular sleepin duties as scheduled
Service: Childrens Home
Service Users: YPs specific needs and personal plans
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma Residential Care or NVQ 3 Caring for Children and Young People
Experience in Years: At least 1 years experience or equivalent of work with young people with social emotional and behavioural difficulties
Employment Type: Permanent

An experienced dedicated Deputy Homes Manager to ensure the team delivers the highest quality care and therapeutic support to young people. We are looking for a proactive and compassionate individual who can provide support to both the young people and the care team including management responsibilities when required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care supervision and support for young people including key worker responsibilities.
  • Lead the daily management of the home in the absence of the Registered Manager.
  • Support and manage staff assisting in recruitment and training as needed.
  • Ensure all entries in young peoples records diaries and reports comply with company policies.
  • Maintain vigilance for Health and Safety concerns and adhere to safeguarding policies.
  • Participate actively in team meetings professional supervision and regular appraisals.

Special Requirements
This role may involve working across different homes within the organisation to meet business needs.
