Job Description

SUMMARY: Habitats mission: Seeking to put Gods love into action Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes communities and hope. The Donor Development Administrator is responsible for processing and executing the philanthropic gifts that support the fundraising initiatives. This position is a key role in the Resource & Development Department which is responsible for a multimilliondollar annual philanthropic revenue donor care communications and volunteer labor required for Habitat for Humanity Lee and Hendry Counties to fulfill its mission.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage Constituent Relationship Management Software: DonorPerfect.
  • Implement the Moves Management system as a framework to track relationships with donors.
  • Manage the processing of gifts and ensure proper allocation of funds.
  • Ensure thank you letters are sent promptly with correct verbiage.
  • Primary timeline and efficiency organizer for organizationalwide newsletters solicitations and mailing lists.
  • Run advanced queries and reports to track strategic planrelated items fundraiser portfolios and grants.
  • Communicate with the relationship manager about donor needs and inquiries.
  • Assist the Development Team in managing their portfolios through weekly interaction reports.
  • Collaborates with Resource & Development Department to meet operational goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrates excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects on a deadline at one time with quality and efficiency.
  • Understanding and appreciation of the mission of Habitat for Humanity.
  • Ability to work harmoniously with coworkers and perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the organizations values: integrity teamwork and mission focus.
Education & Experience:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel SharePoint and QuickBooks.
  • Knowledge and understanding of charitable giving and financial development.
  • Valid Florida drivers license.
  • Acceptable background check.
Physical Requirements Necessary to Perform this Job:
  • Regularly spend hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.
  • Occasionally spend hours standing.
  • Regularly speak clearly so listeners can understand.
  • Frequently bend to file and maintain files.
  • Occasionally lift 520 pounds.
Work Environment and Conditions:
  • Generally quiet office environment.
  • Working some nights and weekends at events.
