What will you be doing in this role

• Identifies and responds to medical emergencies according to onsite protocols
• Communicates and documents medical situations as per company policies
• Assists with miscellaneous calls and initiates incident reports
• Inspects and maintains EMS equipment reporting any issues
• Manages inventory to ensure adequate supplies
• Conducts checks on sitewide medical equipment
• Monitors safety and reports issues to the Environment Health & Safety (EH) team
• Provides followup care for injuries within scope
• Conducts drug screens and surveillances as required
• Assists medical clinic staff as needed
• Maintains medical records securely

Our ideal candidate will have:

• The required state licensure certification and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure prior to the start of employment
• CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s) prior to the start of employment
• The ability to stand walk and sit throughout entire assigned shift
• A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment without constant supervision
• Be able to maintain confidentiality
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel
