What will you be doing in this role
- Identifies and responds to medical emergencies according to onsite protocols
- Communicates and documents medical situations as per company policies
- Assists with miscellaneous calls and initiates incident reports
- Inspects and maintains EMS equipment reporting any issues
- Manages inventory to ensure adequate supplies
- Conducts checks on sitewide medical equipment
- Monitors safety and reports issues to the Environment Health & Safety (EH) team
- Provides followup care for injuries within scope
- Conducts drug screens and surveillances as required
- Assists medical clinic staff as needed
- Maintains medical records securely

Our ideal candidate will have:
- The required state licensure certification and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure prior to the start of employment
- CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s) prior to the start of employment
- The ability to stand walk and sit throughout entire assigned shift
- A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment without constant supervision
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel
