Job Description
Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree in Nursing New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license federal and state DEA license ANCC certification and a minimum of two years experience in an ER setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs entire patient care continuum of urgent care and acute patients in the Emergency Department
- Utilizes available physician resources appropriately
- Demonstrates high confidence in treating patients
- Available for Primary Patient Care for patients of all ages
- 1728 clinical hours per year 12x12 hour shifts per month (11am-11pm) 30-35 patients per day No Call Physician on every shift
Required
- Masters degree or higher
- ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) in New Mexico (NM)
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in New Mexico (NM)
- Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
