Job Description
Job Title: French Teacher
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced French teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French language and culture to students of various ages and proficiency levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching excellent communication skills and the ability to create engaging and interactive lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching: Teach French language and culture to students of various ages and proficiency levels.
2. Lesson Planning: Develop and implement engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
3. Assessment: Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
4. Communication: Communicate with students parents and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
5. Cultural Activities: Organize and participate in cultural events and activities that promote French language and culture.
6. Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of the French curriculum.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in French Education or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
2. Teaching Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience preferably in a similar setting.
3. Language Proficiency: Native or nearnative fluency in French.
4. Certifications: Relevant teaching certifications such as DELF or DALF.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills:
1. Technology Integration: Ability to integrate technology into lessons to enhance student engagement and learning.
2. Differentiated Instruction: Experience with differentiated instruction to cater to diverse learning needs.
3. Cultural Competence: Knowledge of French culture and ability to promote cultural understanding and appreciation.
