Franklin University a private independent accredited notforprofit University located in Columbus Ohio invites applicants for its Adjunct FacultyHealth Informatics Governance position. The Adjunct Faculty role includes primary responsibility for providing quality instruction and maintaining a positive learning environment with an emphasis placed on teaching supporting and evaluating students. This course will be offered online with a requirement that the selected candidate come to our campus in downtown Columbus Ohio for a 2 hour weekly class beginning with our Fall term.
This course covers the broad spectrum of strategic issues in healthcare including policies guidelines standards processes and controls required to manage and implement enterpriselevel information. Treating information as a strategic asset to healthcare organizations processes to manage various risks to the quality of information and ensure its appropriate use are covered.
An endofcourse stipend will be paid for teaching inperson.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Conferred doctoral degree in a healthcare related field from a regionally accredited college or university
Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Health Informatics/ Health Information Management
Minimum of 1 year teaching experience at the graduate level
