Summary
Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead crossfunctional linked teams to address business or systems issues. May be internal or external clientfocused working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions. May include companywide webenabled solutions.Job Description
Your Role...
Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials (focus on FICO Controlling Cost Center Accounting Profit Center Accounting Product Costing Profitability Analysis Project System Results Analysis Unsettled Costs Month End Close Overhead Assessment and Settlement.
Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify interpret validate and document financial support requirements.
Collaborate with business teams and SMEs to collect business requirements in support of projects.
Map client business requirements processes and objectives; develop necessary SAP configurations to resolve problems and implement improvements in financial processing.
Design customize configure and test FI/CO functional processes.
Identify gaps issues and work around solutions.
Act as liaison between users and development team to troubleshoot investigate analyze and solve SAP process issues.
Document functional designs test cases and results.
Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
Support both new implementations and existing support projects.
Provide adhoc training and user support as required.
Work independently; may act as subject matter mentor to junior team members and business SMEs.
Design develop test and deploy custom reports interfaces enhancements and forms in the SAP system conduct unit testing.
Write detailed functional specifications for ABAP developers.
Debug ABAP code and resolve issues as required.
Your Profile..
B.S. degree in business accounting computer science or related field.
5 years of experience in full cycle support projects and implementations.
5 years of SAP experience supporting General Ledger including several of the following functions:Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Financial Accounting Management Accounting Fixed Asset Accounting Intercompany Accounting Project System.
Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like MM PP IM/WM SD/SM/PS and PM.
Experience in AMS/support environment is a plus.
Understanding of accounting business processes is necessary.
Ability to write detailed functional specifications for ABAP developers.
Strong understanding of SAP FI CO and Tax modules.
Experience with change control processes and validation desired.
