Job Description
- Strategic Planning:
I.Develop and implement network and security strategies aligned with the organizations objectives.
II.Evaluate new technologies and solutions to enhance network performance and security posture.
III.Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align network initiatives with business goals.
- Operational Duties:
I.Design configure and maintain network infrastructure including routers switches firewalls and VPNs.
II.Monitor network performance troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to ensure optimal uptime and connectivity.
III.Have an internal team/vendor to conduct regular security assessments vulnerability scans and penetration testing to proactively address security risks.
- Management:
I.Lead a team of network engineers providing mentorship guidance and technical expertise.
II.Establish and enforce network and security policies standards and procedures.
III.Collaborate with IT leadership to create budgetary plans resource allocation and capacity planning for network infrastructure.
- Qualifications:
I.Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
II.Professional certifications such as CCNP CCIE CISSP or equivalent from Cisco and Palo Alto is desired.
III.7 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on security and network infrastructure management.
IV.Strong knowledge of network protocols security standards and best practices.
V.Proven experience in leading and managing a team of network engineers.
- Skills and Abilities:
I.Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
II.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
III.Indepth understanding of network and security technologies including SDWAN cloud networking and nextgeneration firewalls from Cisco and Palo Alto.
IV.Experience with network monitoring and management tools is expected.
