Job Duties
What Youll Do:
- Cultivate your career and fertilize your future
- Enhance the appearance and value of the athletic fields through the of daily grounds and turf maintenance
- Performs tasks necessary to accomplish the field conditions turf management and yearround maintenance goals
- Properly trim mow paint the layout the field and so much more
- Learn to diagnose insect disease and cultural/environmental turf conditions
- Drive use maintain and properly operate landscape equipment
- Duties are performed on baseball softball soccer football track and field along with lacrosse and field hockey fields. Both natural turf and artificial turf.
- Prepping the fields for set up painting lines dragging fields mowing irrigation etc.
- Position includes renovating and rebuilding of a sports field
Qualifications
What Were Seeking:
- Love of the outdoors
- Ability to complete the Davey landscape career development books
- Ability to complete the Davey first aid CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
- Must have a valid CDL License
- Must have current State of Michigan Pesticide License in categories 3a 3b & 6.
