The Opportunity

As a Property Accountant you will oversee the financial and transactional accounting for our Dexus Office portfolio. Your responsibilities will include the end to end financial and transactional accounting of assigned properties within the Office sector including monitoring property financial operations modelling forecasts preparation of budgets and partnering with Property Managers and other stakeholders to provide insights and help drive strategic decision within the Real Estate Office business.

Key responsibilities;

• Budget and Forecasting:Support financial budget and forecasting processes analyse property transactions and ensure future events impacting financial performance are considered.

• Modelling:Deliver best practice asset modelling ensure accuracy and update insystem models for income capital and leasing.

• Financial & Management Accounting:Manage monthend quarterend and yearend finance activities prepare financial reports and ensure sufficient cash for JV distribution.

• Stakeholder Management:Provide endtoend knowledge and support convert accounting data into meaningful insights and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

About You

You are driven accountable and conscientious with a strong ability to provide highquality commercial insights. Your analytical mindset forwardlooking and independent thinking will demonstrate initiative and proactivity. With attention to detail and strong business partnering skills you communicate effectively and collaborate well while being able to work autonomously.

• Minimum 35 years post qualification experience in financial management/accounting

• Tertiary degree in Accounting/Finance; Business/Property/Land Economics is advantageous.

• CA/CPA qualified or on the path to qualification.

• Performanceorientated individual with a strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Intermediate knowledge of other software packages (Word PowerPoint and Outlook etc.

• Experience in Yardi and TM1 would be advantageous

• Proven ability to manage a broad range of customers stakeholders and service partners.
