Minimum Qualifications
Prior to the effective date of appointment successful candidates must have: MD DO or MBBS degree and Completed Psychiatry Residency and Board Certification in Psychiatry (or BoardEligible^ and Unrestricted Ohio Medical License and Federallyissued DEA License. ^ Boardeligible by date of hire is acceptable with the mutual understanding that successful candidates will complete Board Certification completion as soon as practicable after hire and no later than 12 months after the date of hire. Successful candidates will receive offers contingent upon satisfying these requirements prior to their start date. Residents who are graduating within the next twelve 12 months are encouraged to apply. Assistant Professor candidates must meet all the requirements above by their start date. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with clinical observation and evaluation of Psychiatry residents. Experience with didactic teaching and/or administrative contributions to graduate medical education programming. Proven knowledge and interest in research publications and grant submissions. Proven leadership and ability to function professionally and collaboratively with community stakeholders faculty peers medical students and Psychiatry residents and fellows. Ability to serve as a model for excellence in research and clinical care.
